So the last time I was using technology I had a cheap keyboard and an Atari, saving to floppy discs - does that give an idea of my age?!
I've come back to performing and composing again, but the keyboard I bought 15 years ago has been in store all this time and is old-fashioned, I know: a Yamaha CVP205. Equally, the IBook G4 (running OS-X 10.4) and the version of Logic Pro (7.2) are all equally old - but then, they suit my aging brain and memory!
I've never set up the system using these components before and it's taken me a long time to get everything talking to each other.
My problem is that I'm still getting repeated notes even when I have MIDI set to Master Keyboard on the keyboard, with a delay of about a second and the keyboard voice echoed by whatever track voice is set in Logic. I feel the problem can be solved in the environment window, but as I say, I'm low-level tech in this field.  I need a simple guide!
I'm really frustrated - can anyone help, please?
