Hi all,

I'm trying to be sure I fully understand how to correctly map a sample into the EXS24 so that the key I trigger on the keyboard corresponds with the correct key of the sample

So for example, here I have a one-hit bass sample in the key of B... When I drag it into the EXS24, it shows that the "key" in the sampler is set to C3 (see screenshot attached)….

I understand that this is middle C on the keyboard, but since the key of the sample is actually B, should I not change the "key" from C3 to B?

And also - what do I do about the "key range"?

Thanks in advance for the help. I know it's prob simple for some, but it's just one of those things that has always been a snag for me!
