Hi there,

Can't comment other than to say that it would have to be pretty damned amazing to have me shelling out 400 or whatever it is. However, I'm happy with Space Designer, I presume you're not?

Actually I absolutely love Space Designer, it goes on every track, I was just curious what the attraction is to spend that much on something you already get in Logic Pro? I know it has a great library of IR's but what else is there?

Never thought id say this, but..... i agree with mersisblue on this one

UAD-1 plate140 is pretty nice, and is way... better than the powercores reverbs.
That might be an option for you too Tobyond. The UAD-1 cards has some great Compressors/limiters. and the Plate140 is hot.

I must say that some of the altiverbs irs like the westlake studio IR. I dont think anyone else of the other has that sound...

yeah i know, i will convert it over to space designer...SD has more parameters than altiverb, but i support AV since they were here first :detective:

Altiverb is definitely better and you can hear where your money goes. It has a much more 'expensive' sound than SD. Apart from anything else, the sheer number of impulse responses that Altiverb continue to produce is amazing. It's a very very good reverb.

The guy keeps calling it Mac OS X(ex). Does not even know that it is OS Ten. Does not inspire confidence.

Altiverb definitely has a more polished, lush sound than SD. The IR's on their site are great too..

It is expensive but then it is by far the best Convolution plug... IMHO.

Hugo
Huggie don't play dat.
