Does anyone know if you will be able to have dual license of the old 5.5.5 LAPW version and the new Logic Pro 7 with one authorized XSkey like you were able to do with Pro 6?

Some point in the future I want to get a PowerMac G5 to do all my heavy work, but still would like to use my PC laptop with LAPW to record stuff abroad.

Thanks for any insight.

I don't see why this would change.

WOW, I just got back into town from a business trip and all hell has broken loose. LP 7 looks awesome, but I don't think there was any doubt it would be, the whole distributed audio processing looks phenomenal, that was one of the things I hoped would be in there. Plenty of goodies to be had with the new synths and stuff, I can't wait to get my sticky little fingers onto it!!!

Other things that are really cool like the new way to handle video, you can extract the audio from video and you can add audio to the video, so no need for sticking them together in a separate app. Also on the video front logic can now mark where there are 'cuts' in the video stream, which is a massive timesaver for scoring to picture. WOW!!!!

The boards seem to be overflowing with people complaining about lack of PDC in Logic 7, have we heard the official word as to whether it isn't in there or are we just speculating due to lack of it being mentioned in the current press release? I've got the feeling there are huge amounts of features that are not being openly advertised.... We'll see I guess?!?!

Ordered my upgrade yesterday!
Cool!
Hip - looking forward to getting the new version, although I'm too impatient to wait for it. Anyone have any estimated dates ? 'Late October' sucks!
Oh yeah - will it be a downloadable upgrade, or a CD?
