Hi Guys,

I'm running OSX 10.6.6 32-bit and Logic 9.1.3 on an Intel i5 quad core system. My new M-Audio USB Fast Track Ultra souncard installed no probs but when I import a wav loop into a Logic audio track playback is extremely distorted / jumpy (in fact, totally unrecognisable as a drum loop) and I get the error message 'Error while trying to Synchronise Audio and Midi. Sample Rate 12621 recognised. Check conflict between Logic Pro and external Device.'

Note that the sample rate 12621 changes depending on the loop imported. Both the sample rate in Logic preferences and in the FT Ultra control panel are set to 44.100 and I have tried all the M-Audio troubleshooting tips; reinstallation of the soundcard, trying different USB ports, updated drivers etc but nothing seems to be working.

Any help would be much apreciated as I really am at a loss.

Many thanks,
Dee.
