Does anyone have this problem?
When I try to bounce my track to an Mp3 or WAVE file on my desktop, the motion sensor alarm interrupts the bounce. I have never liked this method of saving a mix but there is virtually no other way to get a quick reference mix.

Considering I have an iMac i7, I just don't understand why there should be a motion sensor in my stationary iMac ?
S'p[ose I could delve into Terminal and switch it off...if its there at all!
Bloody annoying.

It's the motion sensor on the drive, not the mac. It protects the drive from damage. If it's stationary, though, I think this thread might have the answer: https://discussions....tart=0&tstart=0

It is possible your drive is going into standby mode. Maybe adjust your power settings?
