I have recently begun encountering a problem where certain tracks in Logic pan to the left automatically. It is usually just one track. If I reset the panning to center, it will randomly return at some point to the left position, usually -44, but not always.

I have looked at the midi event list, and no cc 10 information is on there. There is no panning automation on the track, or if there is, it will follow the automation properly until it randomly decides to go back to -44 once it is centered.

I have repaired my system permissions and restarted my computer, and I have insured that my midi controller is set to channel 16. No changes or additions have been made recently to my system.

I have also tried disconnecting each midi device one by one, but the problem persists.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks.

I am using Logic 9.1.8 with a Mac Pro early 2008 2 x 2.8 quad core with 12 GB RAM running OS 10.9.4. I use a Mackie Control Universal with 1 Extender, an M-Audio Oxygen 61 controller, and a Saffire Pro 24 interface.
