'bounce in place' command to bounce an audio part with fx and replace the part with the processed one.

User Interface is really a joke in 2005. Logic has the best plug ins and very powerful features which take ages to access so for me a complete rework of the UI is very important, I want to work fast and not to think for ages on how can I do this and this. Logic is a complex beast so I am not expecting something as radical as Ableton live but the UI needs to be really changed, especially if Apple wants to attract new consumers.
The environment could be replaced by a much friendlier interface, like the rack cables in Reason.
Apart from this, I think than a rewrite might be necessary, Melodyne type of editing would be nice as well...

You an mLAN user too, Ojay?
I've got an 01X wired up right now.
So we can add to the list...

Improved mLAN performance at the OS level in OSX.
Apple climbed into bed with Yamaha on this, now Yamaha scratches their butt waiting for the Apple guys to improve mLAN implementation before they can release updates for their mLAN tools for OSX.

Let's go Apple. Are you serious about Logic? Music on your platform?
Let's get the kinks out of Core Audio.
Should have finished that before adding features like device aggregation.

Let's see templates for every hardware synth from every manufacturer that you can call up in AMS or Logic in the next OSX update.

For pete's sake, GarageBand is being updated more frequently than Logic.
