I have a mac pro with 12 gigs of ram....it has two drives but we need to add a third drive.

Any suggestions on which one is the best one to get...speed, size and most of all realiablilty are most important.

My favorite Hd maker of all time is Seagate.

What size? how mauch space do you need? what are you using it for?

For an audio only drive I typically use the ones with larger cache.

Seagates SATA w/16mb cache

You can go for 32mb cache if you like too.
