Hi all!
I just upgraded to logic studio 9 from the pro 8 version.
Now my setup is:
Mac Pro Dual 2.26 8 core, 8Gb ram, OSX 10.5.8, Logic studio 9.1.1
Opening "System Performance" I have now 8 cpu bars instead of 16 (that were displayed in logic 8)!
Anyone who experienced the same thing?
Do I have to presume that's a problem? Or it is just that logic 9 displays the numbers of cores instead of the numbers of single processors?
Thanks in advance,
Armando

It's all good. Apple "fixed" the way Logic works with the multithreading capability of the Mac Pro. Using Multithreading in a DAW isn't really the best thing to do, so they removed its ability in Logic, to decrease issues. No worries.
