In Settings under Recording>Midi>Overlapping Recordings I usually set it up with a cycle option to keep building upon a loop but so far its only working with VST's……….I have a Korg MicroX Synth and I Set a Software Instrument and set the input wit an External Instruments option and the external to a Bus linked to an Audio but I can't make it work like I do the VST. Please Help I would really like to incorporate my Synth sounds into my recordings….Thanks!!!

What I want to achieve:
I want to use my microX synth sounds inside Logic to make loops recording in realtime…meaning I don't have to stop the beat to keep adding new sounds to on top of the loop I am working on. Example; http://www.youtube.c...h?v=edM7M8uXjR8
More Detail: I managed to make this work with VST's but not from external instruments. In my earlier post I was trying to explain how I made it work but to make it simple I just want to make loops without stoping my workflow and with my synth sounds.
Logic 9.0.0
OS X 10.6.4
2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM
Apogee Duet
Korg Micro X
I am expectine also Maschine to arrive
